SPONSORSHIP OPPORTUNITIES

G. Wendell Callbeck Bursary Fund

The Wendell Callbeck Bursary Fund was established in 1988 to assist current and former Little Brothers in their educational ambitions. The fund awards grants on an annual basis following a review of the applications received. The fund is only available to current and former clients of the South Niagara Agency.

Donald G. Cowan Memorial Fund

The Don Cowan trust fund was established in 1974 to assist Little Brothers of the agency in the following: To purchase equipment and/or pay registration fees to enable Little Brothers to participate in organized sports, assist in traveling expenses and registration fees for summer camp, or any other recreational activity approved by the Board of Directors.

Big Brother Big Sister House Fund

Established in 1995 the fund is designed to assist the agency in the costs of maintaining their recreational facility and offices. The fund also provides the agency the opportunity to one day purchase a facility that meets the needs of it's clients and staff.

Little Sister Bursary Fund

Established in 2004 the Little Sister Bursary Fund will be available to current and former Little Sisters of Big Bothers Big Sisters of South Niagara once the investment has reached $20,000.00.. The funds will be available to those Little Sisters who were clients of the agency as of January 1st, 2004 and beyond for post secondary needs and trade school admissions and equipment. Donations to the fund are welcomed, for the sooner we reach the $20,00.00 level, the sooner we can begin awarding grants.

Endowment Fund

With the assistance of the Niagara Community Foundation, Big Brothers Big Sisters of South Niagara has established an Endowment Fund in partnership with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Fort Erie and the Niagara Falls Big Brothers Big Sisters Association in order to sustain the organization for the future.  Talk to your Investment Advisor, Life Insurance agent, or Lawyer, about the tax benefits awarded to you when a planned, or legacy gift is made to Big Brothers Big Sisters of South Niagara . For more information you may contact the Niagara Community Foundation at www.niagaracommunityfoundation.org.

Any gift to either Fund is Tax Receiptable and sincerely appreciated. Please contact us at 735-0570 for more information.
